The Best Reason Not To Cook!
Join 7,000 other caring individuals on April 24th
for breakfast, lunch or dinner or all three at 100 of WNC restaurants
and 20% of your bill will be donated to support the Western North
Carolina AIDS Project (WNCAP). All you have to do is go out and have a
great meal. How easy is that?
Last year’s event raised $123,400 to assist WNCAP
in their mission of providing compassionate care to area men, women and
children affected by the AIDS virus and increase awareness to “at risk”
individuals through their Education and Prevention programs throughout
19 counties of Western North Carolina. Thanks to the generosity of our
sponsors, expenses were only 3.8% netting us an incredible $118,000, a
fundraising record. A special thanks to all of our many restaurants,
sponsors and volunteers who made it all happen. We couldn’t have done it
without you!
Next time you visit a Dining Out For Life®
restaurant, please tell them you are there because of their generosity
to this cause.

A
special thanks to the thousands of diners who enjoyed breakfast, lunch
and dinner at 91 area restaurants in 2007 to support the mission of
the Western North Carolina AIDS Project (WNCAP). Through your
generosity, over $123,400 was raised, setting a new record for the five
year old event in Asheville and the surrounding communities. Because of
the generosity of our sponsors, only 3.8% went to cover our expenses, leaving approximately $118,000 to benefit the programs and
clients of WNCAP. Since 1986, WNCAP has provided prevention and
education services throughout 19 counties of WNC and case management
services for area men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS.
A special thanks
to the more than 180 dedicated volunteers, who so generously gave the
gift of time and love to support a great cause. Give yourselves a big
pat on the back. We couldn’t have done it without you!
And our sincere
gratitude to all the participating restaurants and sponsors who all
helped to make this the largest fundraiser in the history of WNCAP.
We encourage
everyone to patronize these restaurants often all year round, as well as
our sponsors and let them know you are there because of their generous
support.
