Early Voting for Asheville PRIMARY Elections Through Oct. 7

It is election season for Asheville local politics.

Now through October 7, 2017, Early Voting is open for PRIMARY elections for the offices of mayor and City Council. The winners of these elections will go on to compete in the GENERAL election on November 4, 2017.

The Primary Election itself is officially held on Tuesday, October 10. But through October 7, Asheville residents may vote early at the Buncombe County Election Services building at 77 McDowell Street. Polls are open from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, and from 8am-1pm on Saturday, October 7.

Elections this year will be held for Mayor of Asheville and for Asheville City Council. Voters will select one candidate for mayor and three candidates for City Council.
