December 1 | Virtual World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day is a little different this year. Although we can’t meet in person, we can still commemorate the day together – virtually!

Did you know World AIDS Day falls on Giving Tuesday this year?

It is fitting that Giving Tuesday falls on World AIDS Day this year… because there has been no time since the peak of the AIDS epidemic when our work has been so critical. When COVID-19 struck, demand for all WNCAP services skyrocketed and people living with HIV are more vulnerable than ever.

COVID-19 disproportionately affected people living with HIV. Many of our clients lost their jobs, housing, or ability to leave the house because of a compromised immune system.

Requests for emergency financial assistance, case management services, and food delivery are at an all-time high, and we expect even higher demand this winter.

Will you give in honor of World AIDS Day?

  • $25 is enough for a lifesaving overdose reversal kit.
  • $50 purchases 100 condoms to distribute throughout our community.
  • $100 can cover transportation costs to get someone engaged in medical care.
  • $500 provides a week of shelter for people living with HIV who have nowhere else to go in the middle of a pandemic.

Your donation today will help a person living with HIV stay healthy, housed, and fed tomorrow. Thank you for your compassion ❤️

Our sincere gratitude goes towards our generous sponsors: Sona Pharmacy + Clinic and Gould Killian CPA Group, for sponsoring the WNCAP Mini-Docs. We can only continue our work with the support of amazing community partners like these!
