World AIDS Day is a little different this year. Although we can’t meet in person, we can still celebrate this important occasion. Throughout the day on Tuesday, December 1st, WNCAP will be commemorating World AIDS Day by remembering those we have lost and celebrating those who are helping to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic once and for all.
Visit the WNCAP pages on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter throughout the day on Tuesday, December 1st for a series of videos and posts that commemorate all those in the fight to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Don’t forget to sign up for the WNCAP e-newsletter as well.
We will remember those we have lost to HIV/AIDS, celebrate the Volunteers of the Year, offer highlights from our Annual Report, and more.
Virtual World AIDS Day will also feature the premiere of the WNCAP Mini-Docs, a series of short documentaries that highlight the people we serve in WNC.
Each Mini-Doc tells the story of one or more inspiring individuals who have been affected by HIV, HepC, or substance use. These extraordinary folks have overcome daunting life challenges only to survive, thrive, and help others do the same.
Be sure to follow WNCAP on social media and check your inbox on December 1st!
